Bra Wars: Episode IV The Revenge of the Strap
And the search for the perfect bra continues.
Last night I ordered Glamorise Women’s Soft Shoulders Lightly Lined Bra #1100
Once again it was the bargain price of $15.00. How can I not try it?
As you might remember, I recently tried the Glamorise Women’s Soft Shoulders Comfort Back Support Bra. It was the bargain price of only $13.00!
To my utter (or would that be udder) dismay the shoulders were NOT “soft” and there was the dreaded “uniboob” issue that seems to be inevitable with front closure bras.
I hate uniboob! HATE IT!
Well, the new $15 bra is a back hook closure so hopefully the uniboob will not be making an appearance. This one should “lift AND separate!”
I’m still concerned with the “soft shoulders” claim but we shall see.
The thing is…. Lane Bryant has really cute bras.
For like, $40!
And I have yet to find one that supports the girls well and doesn’t leave dents in my shoulders.
Seriously, at this point it looks like I have road construction going on with the grooves that have dug themselves into my shoulders.
I look deformed.
The bra war continues.
It is a long and arduous fight.
Send reinforcements!!!
You don’t even have to be that big to have bra problems. Trust me on this.
lately i’ve been somewhat successful with vera wang ones from kohls when they are on sale … but the problem i have is that they make a 36C/D bra with an inch of padding in them … seriously? i have a hard enough time keeping them in most bras and they wanna go and add padding so i’m spilling out all over the dang place … i hate bra shopping
Get custom built ones. Yeah, they are pricey, but you get what you want, and they last because you dont toss them into the washer with whites and hot water since they are so expensive, so you wash them by hand in cool water etc. My wife’s, yes, both of them, have used custom builders. If men had to wear custom thongs with little bitty bags for the boys, trust me, they would get them hand made. LOL.
No man points lost on this post since the last part was purely hypothetical!
You know you should write an ongoing article for a magazine with this. At least you could get the bras free. I’m sure most women would be interested in knowing.
The latest experiment was a disaster! Once more the dreaded uniboob reared it’s ugly head.
The problem I’m running into now is that I need a 36G and you just can’t find those “on the shelf”. 38G..all over the place. But not 36. Apparently, to have big boobs you must also have a big chest measurement. Not so designers…not so.
The quest continues!
Mike — thanks for the vote of confidence.
I’ve changed my minor in school to Creative Writing, don’t you know!
